Bias Correct
Our team is designing a heuristic and machine-learning based program to analyze text from evaluations and letters of recommendation of bias related to gender, race, and ethnicity. We plan to study the effectiveness of the program using qualitative and quantitative approaches.

Gender Equity
Women are less likely to be introduced by their professional title and are often under-represented as speakers in grand rounds presentations and invited lectureships. Women are also less likely to be promoted despite an increasing number of women accepted to medical school each year. It is important to understand the current systems and processes in order to implement change.
